The Hotel Booking Agents Association
HBAA, the trade association that represents the collective interest of the parties involved in the procurement and management of conference, meetings and accommodation in the UK and internationally.
Celebrating its second decade, the HBAA is recognised as the pre-eminent association and driving force of professionalism for the sector.
The association’s buying power accounts for a sizeable percentage of the UK’s business travel sector. This £2.3bn contribution means that the HBAA plays a key role as a contributor to governmental policy and is a partner to Visit Britain.
By drawing together all parties involved in the procurement of conference, meetings and accommodation, the HBAA ensures that standards are set and expectations met.
A membership organisation consisting of approximately 80 booking agents and 280 venues and hotels. Membership affords the opportunity to attend various events including the HBAA Annual Forum, HBAA Golf Day and the HBAA Annual Dinner. Regular agent and venue meetings are also held keeping the membership abreast of industry developments and best working practices.

All agents and venues sign up to the HBAA code of conduct. Developed and agreed by both sides of the industry, the code of conduct assures best practice between agents, hotels and venues - assuring the corporate client receives a professional service.
