The International committee maintains the International Charter and recruits hotels venues and apartment providers outside the UK who seek to work in this market and recognise the importance of adhering to a Charter when doing so.
Originally set up to recognise the needs of the serviced apartment sector, this committee now reflects the voice of the corporate accommodation sector as a whole.
The Technology & Innovation committee monitors developments in these important areas and ensures relevant content for HBAA meetings and events.
We are the organisers behind the two landmark events in the HBAA calendar – the Annual Dinner and Annual Forum.
We work closely with the Agency and Venue Chairs each year, along with the HBAA Executive Office, to ensure that we can make their vision become a reality. You name it, we make it happen – from sourcing the venues, to event theming, to app use, to name badge printing, to AV liaison – every aspect of the event is something that we look after.
Our Membership Committee are committed to ensuring our members feel engaged throughout the year and are always on hand to offer advice on how to get the most out of their membership. You only get back what you put in!
Communication is key to our operations, and The marketing committee is responsible for both the way we reach our members and the way we engage with the business community at large.
They maintain editorial control on Exchange – our newsletter, and manage our media activity. They are also responsible for ensuring that we maintain a presence at Industry events and exhibitions, and provide speakers for Industry Conferences to represent our members.
The Venue Committee meet four times a year with the Executive Committee to form the Management Committee.
