Few of us will have known a more challenging year than this. The impact on our Industry of the Global Economic Downturn was always going to drive the agenda for this year’s HBAA Forum.
But this Forum is NOT about naval gazing, nor is it about second guessing when and how the “recovery” will arrive. It is most definitely not about gathering to lick our wounds.
The 2009 Forum is about opportunity in adversity; it offers workshops designed to give you understanding and inspiration, focussing on giving you insights into key topics such as:

· Personal presentation skills and making a compelling pitch
· Harnessing the power of the new routes to market
· Making networking work
· Working with Procurement
· New technologies
Plenary sessions will focus on communication, the merits of the RFP process and will enable you to ask leaders from across the business travel and hospitality sector your questions and hear their views on developments and trends as they affect our industry.

The Forum is also about celebrating achievement; the HBAA Excellence Awards will be presented along with the HBAA Training Academy Training awards on day one of the forum.
