HBAA Launches Accredited Mental Health First Aid Training Courses!

Mental Health First Aid is (at last!) gaining recognition and gaining as much value as traditional First Aid in the workplace.

Recently HBAA's Executive Committee all completed a mental health first aid training course, and we are now proud to provide the opportunity for your and your colleagues to benefit from this excellent training initiative.

This MHFA England accredited course will give participants a recognised qualification to be a Mental Health First Aider which will be a valuable skill and understanding in the workplace but also in the wider community.

A staggering 70 million work days are lost each year due to mental health problems in the UK, costing employers approximately £2.4 billion per year. (source - Mental Health Foundation). Mental Health First Aiders will really impact on this area by helping colleagues and contacts deal with issues using the tools and techniques from this course.

It's OK not to be OK!
