Our first Agency Engagement Meeting which took place in March 2017 at the Park Regis Hotel Birmingham was a roaring success!
As the new Agency Engagement Committee Chair for the HBAA, I feel incredibly proud to be spearheading this new committee, which is specifically focused on getting our industry Agency Leaders collaborating and working more closely together than they have in recent years. I have been involved with the HBAA since its inauguration 20 years ago, hosting one of the first meetings. I have also been a member of the then TIE Committee and more recently the International Committee. The opportunity to Chair this new committee and be part of the Executive Team was an exciting one and I have been overwhelmed by the member agent support, willingness and openness. I really believe that together we can make a difference.
The first event attracted over 30 agents, it was a great catalyst to get the members more involved with each other and perhaps breaking down some barriers. The event received excellent feedback;

We will be sharing all feedback given during the open mic session during the next Agency Engagement Meeting, 5th July 2017 in Manchester, including updates on the objectives the Committee is currently working on.
