Online Adult Mental Health First Aid

In the same way as learning physical first aid, this course teaches people how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide someone to appropriate support. All delegates will be qualified mental health first aiders following the four online sessions and will receive a certificate from MHFA England.

The live learning schedule is four 2 to 2.5 hour sessions over a two week period. Delegates will be sent a link for open learning modules that need to be completed in advance of the four sessions (approx. 90 minutes each)

Online Adult Mental Health Awareness

This is an introductory four-hour session to provide an understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma. You’ll gain a basic knowledge of common mental health issues, learn how to start a conversation around mental health and some strategies for looking after your own mental health and well-being.

Online Suicide First Aid Lite - Half Day

Teaching the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting, this programme is delivered over 3 hours as a suicide prevention awareness session.  The programme teaches the skills needed to identify someone who may be thinking about suicide and to pass the person onto a suicide first aider.

This has some interactive elements and is an emotionally engaging learning experience.

1-day training solution teaching suicide intervention skills. The course has been accredited by City & Guilds of London. Upon satisfactory completion participants attain 6 credits at level 4.

The UK’s National Qualification in Suicide Prevention 2013-18.

Finding digital balance: how to create healthy digital habits which give you more time each day for the things which matter

Creating a balanced approach to digital usage, including a balanced social media usage. The audience is primarily people who have been on long term furlough and are looking at how to shift their routines and adapt to the return to work and change some of the habits which have been adopted during furlough to create the conditions to make the return to work feel easier and more natural.
